Cardi B and Offset are parting ways once more. On Wednesday, July 31, the rapper filed for divorce from her husband of six years, Offset, 32. This marks the second time Cardi has sought to end their marriage, following an initial filing in September 2020 that was later withdrawn.

A representative for Cardi B confirmed the news, emphasising that the decision is not tied to any cheating rumors. "It’s not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming," the rep stated. According to Page Six, Cardi B, 31, is seeking primary custody of their two children: daughter Kulture Kiari, 6, and son Wave Set, 2½. Details of the divorce filing were not available at press time.

Adding a surprising twist to the news, Cardi B announced on Instagram on Thursday, August 1, that she is expecting her third child. "With every ending comes a new beginning!" she captioned a photo of her baby bump.
